AFC Leopards Officials Meet With Bundesliga Side’s Chief For Possible Cooperation

Kenya Premier League Side AFC Leopards have on Monday had a meeting with Hoffeinhem FC’s Head of International Business, Sebastian Bacher.

According to Ingwe, the meeting with the Bundesliga Side Business Chief is aimed at helping stir up opportunities of cooperation between the two sides.

Turn- und Sportgemeinschaft 1899 Hoffenheim or simply TSG 1899 Hoffenheim is a professional German association football club based in Hoffenheim, a village of Sinsheim municipality, Baden-Württemberg, inside the Rhine-Neckar Metropolitan Region. A fifth division side in 2000, the club made a remarkable advance to the German football league system top tier Bundesliga in 2008 with the financial backing of alumnus and software mogul Dietmar Hopp.

AFC Leopards officials have not yet revealed the details of the meeting but sources indicate that there could be possible partnerships in terms of talent sourcing, development and management with a number of players from Ingwe sent to the German Side for trials.

Ingwe will next take on Western Stima in the Kenya Premier League. The team currently lies Second on the KPL log with 10 Points having played 5 games, one more than Gor Mahia who top the standings on 12 Points.
