Kenyan Head Coach Sebastien Migne is a man full of optimism as Harambee Stars prepares to take on neighbours Tanzania in a do or die clash come Thursday.

Kenya marked her return to the Continental Stage with a poor performance against the Desert Foxes of Algeria as the team went down 2-0.

Sebastien Migne’s charges put in a below average performance especially in the first half and this made the Algerians overun them in all aspects of the game.

Kenya has a chance to make amends with a second group match looming, this time against fellow underdogs Tanzania.

Ahead of the match, coach Sébastien Migné has expressed optimism that his boys will get a positive result against the Taifa Stars.

Having lost their respective tournament openers on identical 2-0 margins, stakes are high, and there is all to play for on Thursday night.

“When you lose the first match in this kind of competition it is important to try to win the second if you are to qualify to the next round,” said coach Migné.

“I believe in my team; we have enough quality. We didn’t see much of it in the first match, maybe because of the quality of opposition we got, but I expect the players to turn up in our match against Tanzania,” he added.

Kenya will Take on Tanzania on June 27 from 11PM E.A.T knowing very well that a win for either side will all but revive their hopes of making it to the knockout phase of the Competition.

The Match will be played at the Air Defense Stadium in Cairo, Egypt.
