Kenya Premier League Champions Gor Mahia have completed the signing of Western Stima defender Maurice ‘Fadha’ Ojwang.
Ojwang’s move to Kogallo is expected to help beef up the Gor Mahia defence ahead of the upcoming season that will see the record time KPL champions defend their title as well as take part in Continental competitions.
He has also been seen by many as a replacement for Harun Shakava who recently announced that his time at Gor Mahia was up.
Ojwang has signed a three year deal at Gor Mahia.
His move sees him reunite with former teammates Joash Onyango, Kenneth Muguna, Bernard Ondiek and Geoffrey Okoth.
Gor Mahia CEO Lordvick Aduda confirmed Ojwang’s signing.
“It is true we have signed Ojwang and he will be with us for the next three years,” Aduda told Goal in an interview.
