New KPL Side Kisumu All Stars are putting their house in order ahead of their maiden Top Flight Campaign next season.

Otenga, as they are famously know have announced the appointment of experienced Henry Omino as the Club’s new head coach.

Omino takes the reigns of power from Francis Oduor who helped the team book a spot in next season’s Kenya Premier League.

All Stars finished second on 80 Points, 1 behind National Super League Winners Wazito FC.

Besides being demoted to an assistant coach, former Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards player Oduor has revealed that he is not distracted from his job by the new developments and that he is happy to work under Omino.

Oduor has welcomed Omino’s appointment saying it will help bring in the much needed experience needed in the KPL by Kisumu All Stars.

“I am happy with Omino’s appointment in the team, he will for sure add a lot to the team in terms of experience,” Said Oduor.

“He is one of the top coaches in the country and having him in the team’s technical bench is a wise thing to do, I have no problem with him. He coached me way back at Kisumu Posta, and he helped me improve a lot that time and I know what he brings in the team.” he added.

Kisumu all stars will make a bow to the Kenyan Premier League scene when the team takes on Soldiers Ulinzi Stars in their first game of the season.

The Game will be played on the 31st of August, 2019 at the Moi Stadium in Kisumu.
