Kenya Premier League Champions Gor Mahia are already bolstering their squad ahead of the 2019/2020 season.

With Kogallo also taking part in next season’s CAF Competitions, the team will need a great squad depth, a squad that can compete both locally and internationally.

Gor Mahia has today confirmed the capture of five new players. This comes just days after the team promoted three youth team players to the senior squad.

Leading the new breed at Gor Mahia is 20-year old former Sony Sugar midfielder Tobias Otieno.

Otieno was the king of assists at Sony ending the season with nine assists that all led to goals for the Awendo based side. He has signed a one year renewable contract with the Champions.

Gor Mahia has also brought in some competition for right back Philemon Otieno. The Club has confirmed the capture of another Sony Sugarace Abadalla Sura. The 22-year old right-back has signed a four-year contract with Gor.

Kogallo have further strengthened their defence with the signing of Centre back Elvis Ronack from Nzoia Sugar. The 24-year old has also penned a four year deal at Gor Mahia.

Oalo was last season’s NSL top scorer. The 23 year old scored 24 Goals for Stima and added one more goal during the play-offs against Posta Rangers.

20 year old Winger Curtis Wekesa on the other hand scored 9 Goals and bagged 15 assists.

They have both signed 4 year contracts at Kogallo.

Kogallo’s new contingent of players will join camp and start preparations for the upcoming season with CECAFA Club Championships next on the team’s agenda.

Just over a week ago, Gor Mahia also brought in former Sony Sugar head coach Patrick Odhiambo as the club’s assistant coach.

Well, it seems like Kogallo loves products from Sony Sugar.

Do you think the new signings will be of great value to the team going foward?
