It’s all systems go for National Team Harambee Stars as the team ended their AFCON Preparations with a 1-1 draw against DR Congo in Madrid, Spain.

Kenya took the lead courtesy of a Michael Olunga stunning strike after a brilliant move by Chinese based Ayub Timbe Masika in the 25th Minute.

The team could however not bag the win courtesy of goalkeeper Patrick Matasi whose blunder in the dying minutes of the game gifted DR Congo’s Arthur Masuaku a goal.

The Goal overshadowed Matasi’s early heroics in the second half that saw him save a penalty in the 51st Minute hence denying Cedrick Bakambu from the spot.

This was Matasi’s second Penalty save in the Pre-AFCON friendlies after he made another save during Kenya’s 1-0 win over Madagascar in Paris.
