Kisumu All Stars Make it Rain Goals in Thika to Book KPL Spot


Kisumu All-Stars defeated an already relegated Thika United 7-1 to finish second in the National Super League and earn automatic promotion to the Kenya Premier League.

The match played at the Thika Municipal Stadium saw Kisumu All Star Fans led by Kisumu County Deputy Governor Dr. Mathew Ochieng Owili turn up in numbers.

Well, if you thought that only Gor Mahia has got crazy fans, better watch out for Kisumu All Stars Fans who have become the driving force of the team whole season.


Kisumu All Stars or Otenga as they are better known went to the match tied at position two with Nairobi Stima at 77 points. They however had a superior goal difference of 4.

They strengthened their Goal Difference even further when they made it rain goals in Thika scoring 7 in the process with Thika only managing to pull one back.

All Stars have gained promotion to the KPL after only two seasons in the second tier.

Their Fans are so optimistic as the team braces itself for a new challenge next season.
