KPL Side AFC Leopards have completed the signing of Malian Striker Ismaila Diarra from CA Bordj Bou Arreridj of the Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1
Diarra, who previously turned out for Rayon Sports has joined Leopards on a two-year deal.
He has also turned out for Ismaily FC in Egypt and Azam FC in Tanzania.
In 2016, Diarra was linked with a move to Leopards only for a deal to fall through after Rayon Sports developed a cold feet over the whole thing.
The Malian striker was said to have signed an official deal with Ingwe and was even registered by the Football Kenya Federation but Rayon Sports were obdurate that he was still their player and had not been officially released.
AFC Leopards proceeded to bring the case to FIFA.
Well, it now seems that patience has finally paid off for AFC Leopards who have now got the highly rated 27 year old striker in their books.
Diarra becomes Ingwe’s fourth signing of the season. Ingwe have already landed the services of Uganda Cranes keeper Benjamin Ochan, Nzoia Sugar striker Hansel Ochieng and Burundian midfielder Tresor Ndikumana.
