KCB Unveil 9 New Players and Technical Bench Ahead of New KPL Season


Kenya Premier League Side KCB has officially unveiled their new signings ahead of the new season.

Among those unveiled at the club include, Ugandan Goalkeeper Allan Owini, Sofapaka duo of midfielder Denis Odhiambo & Striker Steven Waruru, Pascal Ogweno of Gor Mahia, Regan Paul from Busia Olympics, Enock Agwanda of Sony Sugar & Kisumu all-stars duo of Ian Motanda & Moses Odhiambo.


The Club also unveiled a technical bench headed by new Harambee Stars assistant coach Zedekiah ‘Zico’ Otieno. The bench also consists of Team Manager Bramwell Simiyu, assistant coach Godfrey Oduor Otieno, Strength and Conditioning Coach Samuel Macharia and Goalkeeper trainer Charles Omondi. 37-year-old Michael Oyando will double as trainer and team coordinator.

During the unveiling, KCB FC President Paul Russo said that the team aims to solidify it’s place in the Kenyan Football scene.


“We have had some stellar performances over the years at KCB Football and we want to build on this profound success to reach new dimensions in the Kenyan Premier League,” Said Mr. Russo.

“We are confident that the squad has what it takes to compete effectively in the local football scene, we are targeting the top honours this season” he added.

The Bankers begin their KPL Campaign with an away clash to Sony Sugar in Awendo.
