Will Victor Wanyama still be a Tottenham Player come next season?
The Kenyan midfielder’s future at the Club remains uncertain with many linking him with an exit from the club.
A number of clubs including EPL side West Ham united have shown interest in the 27 year old who still has a contract with Spurs.
The arrival of former Olympique Lyonnais midfielder Tanguy Ndombele Alvaro has also led to rife speculations that Wanyama has fallen down the pecking order at Spurs and will therefore be looking for a way out of the club.
Wanyama has however dismissed any report linking him to a move away from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The Kenyan Captain has confirmed that he will link up with his teammates next week and resume training ahead of the next season.
“I will be back in training with Spurs next week. I do not want to dwell much on speculations because it’s normal for a player to be linked with other clubs when the transfer window is open but I’m not going anywhere,” the Harambee Stars captain said.
“I have not spoken to any other team because my aim is to remain at Spurs and to help my team next season. I have a running contract with Tottenham which I intend to honour.”
“The target is to have an injury free season. I believe in my abilities and I will always work hard to give my best in matches,” he concluded.
According to Hammers News, Victor Wanyama is a target for West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini and signing him would really be the icing on the cake for the Hammers who have already had a busy transfer window so far.
An ex-West Ham Employee revealed on The West Ham Way podcast on Phoenix FM (Wednesday 17th July) that the 27-year-old Spurs is a wanted man as the London based side.
Manuel Pellegrini is allegedly keen to sell Pedro Obiang for around £10 million this summer, and if the midfielder leaves the London Stadium, bringing in Wanyama really would be a massive upgrade.
Should Wanyama Stay at Spurs or move elsewhere?
