Gor Mahia fans have given mixed reactions after the club signed a new player from Ivory Coast. The Kenya Premier League giants announced the signing Gislein Yikpe Gnamian to add firepower to their attack ahead of the 2018/2019 season.

The 23-year-old was considered as a perfect replacement for Rwandan Jacques Tuyisenge who moved to Angolan outfit Petro Atletico.

Gnamian scored five goals for SC Gagnoa having featured for half-season in the fourteen-team league. In the 2017-2018 season he scored nine goals for Hafia FC in Guinea’s Ligue 1. He had featured for Ready JCAT in the 2016-2017 season where he netted seven times.

A Section of K’Ogalo fans appear divided concerning the Ivorian Import.

They have given their reactions with some doubting whether he will bring an impact to the team or he is a replicate of Ivorian Ephrem Guikan, who struggled to adapt to the KPL and eventually left Gor.

Elisha Job Oluoch Let me hope he is not a Guikan type,I always doubt this players from West who plays local league

Geoffrey Oketch I have been scanning this page for this news for the past 2 days…I had started developing headache. The other one from GHANA ASAP! AS long as they are top Quality

Paul Ogongo His goals are minuscule for a striker though. Unless he was never a regular starter.

Collymoh Snr A good move…but I prefer local based players, I mean nurturing talents in our own..

Nyakwar Seda An average of six goals per season….???… OKAY let him prove himself on the pitch

Ba Valarie Omochura We don’t want a guikan prisss
